GREENMAX polystyrene compactor in response to the government’s call for the circular economy

Just recently, Energy Minister Lily de Ambrosio announced the entry of the new Circular Economy (Waste Reduction and Recycling) Bill into Parliament on October 27. One of the provisions of the draft is that the Victorian government invests a portion of the $515 million to increase the amount of resources used through recycling.

Throughout the world, many governments have begun to fund recycling assistance, and recycling has long been an urgent priority. Fortunately, a scientific recycling equipment can make recycling half the effort. More and more companies are working to make recycling less of a challenge, such as GREENMAX.

GREENMAX is a professional brand of polystyrene recycling machine, more than 1000 companies have solved their worries about waste polystyrene with its help. The polystyrene compactor, as one of the recycling machines, uses screw pressure to extrude crushed polysytrene into compact blocks – the raw material for plastic particles. The plastic particles can be made into photo frames, mirror frames, etc. and sold back on the shelves to be returned to our lives. This is to a certain extent an economic cycle. In the so-called circular economy, the aim is to eliminate waste and the sustainable use of resources. For example, polystyrene, a material that would otherwise be disposed of in landfills, can be recycled into something useful.

One of GREENMAX’s customers, Electronic Recycling Australia, or ERA, is a company that specializes in electronic waste recycling. Prior to working with GREENMAX, the company’s polystyrene waste was mainly thrown directly into the garbage. Without even thinking about it, the polystyrene would end up in landfills. In addition to the environmental factor, ERA had to pay high monthly disposal fees for this waste polystyrene. When the company purchased the GREENMAX polystyrene recycling machine, polystyrene was no longer a source of headaches and zhuan was turned into a treasure, with the added benefit of generating additional revenue for the company.

The government is already leading the way in the circular economy, and we, as citizens and members of the planet, should join the recycling industry as well. Advanced recycling equipment will make our recycling business a lot less stumbling blocks, we can use them to improve efficiency and achieve the desired end result faster.
