A long road to go for Polystyrene Foam recycling

In recent months, I searched new suppliers for our new products production on website. It’s good news that more and more people realized the importance of recycling polystyrene foam. Not only to get profit from our waste, and what’s important that it can reduce solution for our environmental and keep the earth green. A lot of polystyrene foam from commercial, industrial, residential, school, packaging can be gathered. At the same time, some manufactures, like INTCO, will reuse them to make new products, such as picture frames, pellets, furniture materials, and so on.

In fact, not all the situation of recycling is satisfied. I found that polystyrene foam recycling is organized by the government of Houston at firstly in recent years. These materials were landfilled before that. Now many Waste Management companies still will use the way of landfilling to deal with this polystyrene foam. Even I heard from someone who is in charge for recycling told me that they have a large volume, and I have no idea to deal with it. That’s the fact. There are a lot of recycling centers don’t accept Styrofoam now for all of reasons now. Though we can provide them a total solution for them to recycling, they generally don’t hold onto their waste foam for long, also manpower/time/space/equipment needed for that to be an option.

So there is a long road for Polystyrene Foam recycling.
