SABIC company has announced that its new medical-grade drug have attracted Bormioli Rocco packaging company. And the company have decided to produce transparent medical plastic measuring cup.
SABIC said as plastic raw materials, the more traditional PS medical grade PP or PP material is more transparent and the material is an ideal material for producing plastic measuring cup. In addition, the PCGR40 in full compliance with the stringent requirements of EU regulations on plastics for medical use.
“Adhering to the principles of innovation-driven development, we started a close cooperation with Bormioli Rocco Company. We are able to fully understand the customer who face intense competition and severe challenge, has been committed to the development of low cost, high value material. Core products which is to enhance their overall strength.” SABIC medical manager said.
This close partnership mean that Bormioli Rocco will produce 20million of medical plastic measuring cup in the latter half of the year. In 2015, its production capacity will be further expanded.
