Mexico and Spain will Strengthen Cooperation in the Plastics Industry

Spanish and Mexican plastic industrialists met last week in the Mexican capital, hopes to expand bilateral cooperation in business and technology.

Talks co-organized by the Spanish Confederation of Plastic owners and the Mexican National Plastics Industry Association, held at the Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy on December 14th.

According to Mexico’s National Plastics Industry Association, 20 countries participate in the company’s business meetings, five Spanish companies have expressed interest in expanding operations in Mexico. The conference is related to auto parts, packaging films, especially agricultural films.

Spanish plastic owners association said the Spanish plastics industry hopes that this year exports of plastic products to the total value of Mexico could reach $65.5 million.

Mexico’s National Plastics Industry Association, said this series of business meetings for technical cooperation between the plastics industry can be a possibility.

Now, although the oil price is declining, people still have aspiration for plastic industry investment. So the plastic price will be keep still and this industry still have a good market condition. Meanwhile, the plastic recycling industry still have a promising tomorrow as more and more people have paid attention to the plastic recycling.
