BCC research recently published report, in recent years, the global rigid plastic food packaging market trends substantial in the coming years.
The report notes that in 2013 the global rigid plastic food packaging market demand of about 30 billion pounds, in 2014 this figure is expected to exceed 31 billion pounds. During 2014-2019, the demand of combined average growth rate will reach to 3.7%. In 2019, the global rigid plastic food packaging market demand will increase to 37.2 billion pounds. The research firm said that the next five years in a hard plastic PET food packaging will remain dominant, which is expected to reach 4.1% of combined average growth rate.
